You are invited to the Human Rights Day 2011 Celebration organised by the Bar Council Human Rights Committee (BCHRC) on:
10 Dec 2011 (Saturday), 2pm - 7.30pm, at the Auditorium, KL Bar Committee, Level 10, Wisma Kraftangan, No. 9 Jalan Tun Perak, 50050 KL.
For this year's celebration, the BCHRC focuses on death penalty and participatory democracy:
1. The first part of the programme will be a premiere screening of a documentary entitled "Death in Dilemma: The Final Curtain", to be followed by a discussion with a panel of speakers. "Death in Dilemma: The Final Curtain" is a documentary directed and produced by Seira Sacha Abu Bakar and Khaizan Sharizad Ab Razak (Sherrie), both members of BCHRC.
2. The second part will be a workshop on democracy, to be conducted by Edmund Bon, a human rights lawyer.
Admission is free. Please spread the word!
